Comments

I had an argument with a buddy who wants to cut his Wilson racquets a 1/2 inch off the handle so that he will relieve his tennis elbow. I keep telling him the racquet is not causing his tennis elbow --you'll still be gripping it where you held it before. He said I was wrong. The racquet is now closer to the body and less strain on the arm.

He says it's more comfortable with a shorter racquet - which I can't argue with because it's his comfort level. But if you address the racquet closer, that doesn't change the swing .

Anyway, he still thinks what he thinks. Sure he can feel more comfortable with shorter racquet, but he'll still be holding the racquet in the same place regardless of how much he cuts off the bottom.

Am I right or way off on this?

Great site I think it's great when people express their opinions as emphatically as you do. Way to show your Punahou school pride! Make us proud! :)

I was looking for a prescription/cure site for tennis elbow when I came across your site in a google search.

I agree with this guy completely. I also saw him on the Tennis Channel.
